Very Rare & Absolutely Beautiful Original Antique Circa 1920 Hand-Painted Polychrome Art Deco Zeh, Scherzer & Co. It is an absolutely beautiful piece worthy of any antique porcelain collection. The wording under the green mark reads ZEHSCHERZER. BAVARIA with Zeh Scherzer written as a single word. Above the stamp in raised lettering is a mark that reads KUNSTSCH. We believe that C. Stands for Kunstfachschule or Kunstgewerbeschule München that we believe roughly translates to Arts and Crafts School Munich. Below this mark is the raised number 91 that indicates the designs model number. Our research indicates that Richter designed the statue around 1920 and we thus date the piece to around that time. The statue in excellent condition, no any breaks, cracks, or repairs. Details see each picture. The statue measures roughly 13 5/8″ in length by 8 1/2″ in height by 3 1/8″ wide at its furthest points and the outer edge of the base measures roughly 12 3/4″ x 3.
